Northcott Fundraising

Thank you!
It’s thanks to you that children and adults with disabilities can achieve their goals and aspirations, living independently and as part of an inclusive society.
This includes people like Paul Junkiewicz:
‘I was in an accident when I was younger, I can’t move my body much and I can’t speak. Because I have limited movement in my hands, my computer has been adapted for me. I can use my head to tap a switch which operates the computer.
The Northcott team helped me to work out which type of computer was best for me and the best way to operate it. I wouldn’t be able to tell you all this if I didn’t have this computer. It really has made a difference to my life.’
Paul’s computer called ‘Kookaburra’ is a computer device which enables him to communicate with the world. Without it, Paul wouldn’t have a voice of his own.
How your generous donations helps people with disabilities
- Northcott provides over 100 programs and services across NSW and ACT
- Services operate from more than 25 sites and offices throughout NSW and ACT
- With your help, more than 10,000 people with disabilities and their families and carers are supported by Northcott
What will your money buy for Northcott
Every cent does count, so it doesn’t matter if your donation is big or small. For example:
$2 – covers the cost of presentation ribbons for children who participate in Northcott’s unique sports carnivals
$5 – pays for art and craft materials for the children who use Northcott’s Early Childhood Support Service
$10 – purchases early learning and therapy toys for children with autism
$20 – goes towards enabling one child to participate in a sports carnival with other young people with similar abilities
$50 – goes towards increasing Northcott’s loan pool for children’s equipment
You can help more people with disabilities in many ways including making a donation purchasing the May Gibbs merchandise which we sell, becoming a corporate partner, participating in an event or running a community fundraising event yourself.
