Fundraising

Our supporters allow us to be there for families that have a child with a disability. With services available from birth through to adulthood, Northcott Disability Services is able to work not only with the child, but the whole family, including siblings and grandparents. We couldn't do it without our supporters, both financial and non-financial.

The community contributes approximately one third of our total income. Our supporters include individuals, corporations, trusts and foundations, and staff within a company, service groups, fundraising groups, hotels and clubs.

Our auxiliaries and fundraising groups play a significant role in generating much needed funds for our services. Many of the older, more established groups hold regular street stalls in their community, younger groups host balls and dinner dances. Staff within companies fundraise through their social club or via payroll deductions. By making a donation of as little as $2 a week that is automatically deducted from your pay you will in effect be giving $104 p.a. tax deductible donation. If you can persuade your employer to make a matching gift, together you can sponsor a child at one of Northcott's respite houses for a weekend.
