You can participate in events like City to Surf or the Blackmores Running Festival and raise sponsorship money for Northcott online using either Go Fundraise or Everyday Hero. The page is really easy to set up and then all you need to do is email the link to your family friends and colleagues and ask them to sponsor you online. This is the simpliest way to raise money for Northcott as it means that you do not have to handle the money yourself. If you're organising your own event (i.e. doing a sponsored walk or a sponsored silence) this is a great way to get people to sponsor you. Do you have a Facebook page? Use the status update space to tell people about your event (Example: John Smith is running the City2Surf for Northcott, please sponsor him and send out your fundraising page URL.) You can also use Twitter to raise awareness about your event and to publicise your fundraising page URL. |
