Channel Ten’s 1 Million Kilo Challenge is a 10-week healthy lifestyle challenge that aims to equip all Australians with the resources, advice and motivation they need to achieve and maintain their healthy weight goal.
Starting Monday 30th January, the ten week challenge promotes healthy eating, exercise and happier lifestyles for everyone that participates. In partnership with everyday hero, participants can also chose to raise funds for their favourite charity when they complete their registration.

The annual Swimathon for Cystic Fibrosis will be held on Saturday February 11, 2012 at Wollondilly Community Leisure Centre in Picton. All monies raised go directly to CFNSW. CFNSW support all our cystic fibrosis carers through ongoing support, information, research, counselling etc often during their long, frequent visits to clinics.
By Northcott Macarthur participating in this event  it is anticipated it will attract more local CF carers as well as raising the profile of the Family Resource Links Northcott Macarthur Carers Support group. It is planned that Northcott resources and flyers will also be distributed on the day to further promote other Northcott services.

The Sharing Our Hearts BBQ is a combined event between  Nutcote, and the beneficiaries of May Gibbs will, Northcott Disability Services and Cerebral Palsy Alliance. This event is hosted in the garden at Nutcote House and sponsored by the Rotary Club of Neutral Bay and will be compered by Geoff Williams. All are welcome.

The Northcott Fundraising Committee in Wagga Wagga are up and running with their first Literary Lunch for the year to be held on Saturday, 17 March at the Country Golf Club, Wagga Wagga commencing at 12 midday. Tickets for the two course lunch with beverage on arrival are $45.

The Committees guest author is a fifth generation farmer from East Gippsland. Margareta Osborn, draws her inspiration from the land and life she loves.  Margareta will present her first novel, "Bella's Run", an intoxicating outback romance set in Victoria and Queensland, brimming with the energy and vitality of life on the land.

Drive4Life Victorian High Country – 2012
Sign up and join 10 groups of 10 vehicles with experienced four wheel drivers in lead and tail-end support vehicles touring the spectacular Victorian High Country. The tour will start and finish in Harrietville Vic. (24 kms east of Bright and 124 kms SE of Albury/Wodonga) and drivers will be treated to touring on a series of tracks and roads joining Dargo, Grant/Talbotville, Wonnongatta Station, Mt Buller area, Cobbler Lake and Harrietville.
By conducting "tag-along" four wheel drive tours of parts of Australia that are generally not on the travel "shopping list" of people who own four wheel drives. The tours are aimed at people who have either not had the opportunity to be expertly guided when driving off-road or who do not have the experience to navigate in areas where Drive 4 Life will take them.

The service arm of NES boasts one of the most comprehensive facilities for mobility solutions in the country. NES assist more than 2000 people with mobility and rehabilitation needs across NSW each year. We have a number of specialized services on offer at NES click here.

The members of this national book club are fundraising for a wheelchair for a client that lives in Ballina.

In 2011, Northcott Disability Services entered its first team into the iconic City2Surf. A team of 36 runners, joggers and walkers helped to raise over $6,000 for a variety of Northcott’s Services.
On Sunday 12 August 2012, Team Northcott hope to better this amount and raise much more.
